hello! my husband is suffering from high blood pressure (he is 38 years old). What would you recommend? thanks a million!

Hi there! Though we are not doctors and cannot provide medical advice, there are a few herbs we can suggest trying that may be beneficial for whole body function. We recommend Ashwaganhda (powder or Transcendent Elixir), Moringa leaf, Ashitaba and White Dragon Matcha. Also, any and all of the mushrooms we offer may support heart healthy benefits. We recommend speaking with a health care practitioner or an herbalist for more information on specific needs!

hi its ok to take yin power while breastfeeding ? thank you

Hi there! Because we are not health care practitioners, we recommend consulting with an herbalist. We can refer you to Minka Robinson, a family acupuncturist and herbal alchemist working in Santa Barbara, California, who works with us and focuses on fertility and pregnancy/breastfeeding questions. She can advise you on what herbs may be best during this time. We invite you to contact Minka and set up time to talk through her website, minkarobinson.com

Hi! What herb/blend would best support low female testosterone levels?

Hello and thanks for writing in! We have a few options to support the balancing of hormones for females (and males too!). One of the first options is Pine Pollen, which is the actual pollen from Mason Pine Trees! Certain forms of Pine Pollen from specific species (one of which is the Mason Pine) have been used for centuries by both males and females for a number of benefits, one of which is to help boost testosterone levels. Our Pine Pollen is single origin, high altitude, cracked-cell Mason Pine Pollen offering optimum bioavailability. A second option for female hormone balancing support is our Shatavari Transcendent Elixir. This tincture form of Shatavari is a potent elixir that may support female reproductive health, promote energetic vigor and support digestive health.  A few other options are Ashwagandha, which is great for supporting hormone balance, He Shou Wu, which may help increase testosterone levels, and our Yin Power blend, which is a special blend of herbs and adaptogens made with women in mind, containing some of the herbs listed above (including Pine Pollen, Shatavari, He Shou Wu & Ashwagandha!) and has a wide range of benefits!

I have Tocos in my cupboard. I can’t find an expiration date, not sure who ordered this product. Could you explain benefits?thanks!

Hi there, I just rediscovered my pantry. I have Tocos in my cupboard. I can’t find an expiration date, not sure who ordered this product. Could you explain benefits?thanks! Wendy Hi Wendy! Tocos is short for tocotrienols, which are rice bran solubles, isolated fat and water soluble portions of brown rice bran. It is an incredible superfood and contains protein, minerals, vitamins and healthy fatty acids. A creamy addition to any healthy recipe, Tocos is a bioavailable source of Vitamin E, may promote healthy skin and connective tissues and may facilitate the removal of toxins from the body. The expiration date is usually on the bottom of the bag, but if stored properly in a dry, low-lit place such as a pantry, these plants can last past their expiration date.

Can I take He Shou Wu and Cordyceps mushrooms together?

Hi! I suffer from chronic canker sores in my mouth and anxiety. What would you recommend for this? Thanks!

Hi there, and thanks for writing in! A few herbs that we offer to help support with combating anxiety are Ashwagandha and Reishi. Ashwagandha is an adaptogen that may support bring more equilibrium to the body, promote more restful sleep and may support lowering levels of cortisol in the body, which is released when one is under stress. The Ashwagandha Transcendent Elixir is also a very potent way to take this herb, and is a triple extract of this transformational food. Reishi is a mushroom called the "Queen Healer Mushroom," and is a revered food that may support stress relief. Though we do not have any herbs for specifically helping to combat canker sores, we recommend speaking with your doctor, health care practitioner or an herbalist to see what is best for you and make sure that none of these herbs exacerbate or irritate your canker sores when they are present. We hope this is helpful!

Is there any where to take a quiz or compare products to see which ones I need. I am not sure which adaptogens I could use.

Hi there, currently we do not have a quiz, but we LOVE that idea! If you would like to email us at hello@sunpotion.com with more specific questions, we can help guide you in the right direction. One that we can suggest to start with is Yin Power, which is a specially formulated blend that includes many of our herbs and adaptogens! It is a great way to both start out and get many of the herbs in one place. Yin Power may support: Immunity, Creative Energy, Hormonal Balance, Mental Clarity, Stress Relief, Cellular Regeneration, Radiance, Healthy Circulation, Emotional Equilibrium and Libido!
