Summertime smoothies that are packed with ingredients to nourish our skin is just what we need right now. Cassie shares her go-to blended potion fueled by pumpkin, raw cacao, avocado and Ashitaba- a long revered plant from Japan that is used to regenerate and nourish the skin.
I’m all about a nourishing smoothie... they’re so versatile no matter the need or occasion! We can adjust them to relieve our digestive system after long weekends of indulging, traveling or when we’re a bit off our sleep cycles. One of the targeted smoothies I find myself, and clients, really needing is one to get the glow back in our skin. Especially because all of these events can leave your skin feeling a bit lifeless and dull.
This skin nurturing smoothie boosts collagen with He Shou Wu, Ashitaba that encourages cell rejuvenation and removal of aging cells, pumpkin to brighten and plump skin with collagen, vitamin A and C and avocado filled with fatty acids, vitamin E and fiber.
